Cops 4 Kids: Shop with a Cop
Cops 4 Kids: Shop with a Cop is a community partnership that builds positive, trust-based relationships between children and law enforcement by pairing youth who have experienced trauma or fear around police with local officers for supportive, connection-focused shopping experiences held each August and December in Dunn County.

Internships
The Menomonie Police Department Internship Program offers year-round, hands-on learning opportunities for students from any field of study to explore criminal justice by shadowing officers and investigators, supporting community programs, and gaining real-world experience during Spring, Summer, and Fall/Winter terms.

Volunteering & Chaplain Program
The Menomonie Police Department’s Volunteer and Chaplain Programs offer meaningful ways to give back to your community by supporting officers and residents through program assistance, outreach, administrative help, fleet support, and compassionate care during critical and traumatic moments.

Junior Police Program
The Menomonie Police Department’s Junior Police Program introduces youth ages 14–20 to careers in law enforcement and criminal justice through hands-on training, real-world experience, community service, and leadership development, with advanced opportunities available for older participants.

Food for Fines
The Food For Fines program allows citizens to pay off their basic parking fines by donating nonperishable food items during the holiday season. Each item donated counts for $2 off of basic parking fines! All food is donated to the Stepping Stones of Dunn County food pantry. This program runs annually from November 1-December 31. Donations must be made at the Menomonie Police Department business office during regular business hours.
