Airport Commission
Established June 6, 1988, oversees Menomonie Municipal Airport. Composed of five citizen members appointed by the Mayor with Council confirmation for 6-year terms.

Board of Zoning Appeals
This board hears appeals on the enforcement of zoning ordinances, granting special permits for certain specified uses and variances from certain requirements of the ordinances.

Economic Revolving Loan Committee
The purpose of the Economic Development Revolving Loan Program is to promote employment and business opportunities in the City.

Historic Preservation Committee
Any site or area of historic, architectural, or cultural significance may be designated as a landmark, landmark site, or Historic District. Once such designation has been made, the commission can regulate construction, reconstruction, exterior alteration, and demolition within such locations.

Library Board
This board is responsible to protect and advance the interests of the broader community by effectively governing the operations and promoting the development of the local public library.

Parking Utility
The Parking Utility is responsible for the operation of the downtown parking system composed of street and lot meters and parking lots.

Plan Commission
This Commission is responsible for the development of all plans and ordinances that affect community growth and development.

The Commission is responsible for the recruitment and selection of candidates for the police and fire department positions.

Tourism Commission
The Tourism Board shall consist of six members who shall be appointed by the mayor subject to common council confirmation.
